People suggest that you level a character from 1-80 to understand the game as a whole, but we've seen posts here about people who would have quit the game if not for the boost.To mimic the experience as much as possible, you'll want to use low-quality (blue or green rarity) gear around level 80, which will weaken you a bit so you can putz around low level areas and feel a bit more challenged.
